Oshun and The Gold - A New Anansi Tale
Through ups and downs, highs and lows, trickery and play, we follow Oshun's journey of writing her own future.
Watch the struggles and fun of relationships unfold, as Oshun begins to flourish and take off like an acrobat. A playful dance production developed with young people from across Glasgow.
This project consisted of weekly workshops and a Project X Summer School delivering classes in dance, story telling and gymnastics, held at The African Art Centre, Kinning Park, Urban Gymnastics and The Pearce Institute. Performed on the George Square Main Stage and Merchant Square as part of the Glasgow 2018 European Championships Cultural Programme.
